ACCOMMODATION

The apartment are classified in the 4-star category by Vienna Tourist Board. It is very comfortable, well-equipped, modern furnished and offer the best conditions for short or a long-term stay.

The apartment provides PC with high-speed internet access & TFT-Flatscreen, stereo HIFI und CD-Player, DVD-Player, cable-TV, telephone and fax.

Turmburggasse Apartments No.24 is 65 m2 (approx. 750 sq feet) consisting of an entrance hall, a living room, a bedroom, a fully furnished kitchen, a bathroom with separate toilet and a storage room. The apartment is located at the end of the Fleemarket in about 10 minutes walking distance to our main location at Mühlgasse No. 6.
It is well suitable for an accommodation of 1-5 persons.

The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, washing machine, coffeemaker, toaster and cooking facilities, cutlery, pots, plates and pans as well as other kitchenware are available for 6 persons. There are also ironing facilities.

LOCATION

The most important sights of cultural interest, as well as the business, shopping and entertainment centers are reachable just by walking. The famous Viennese scene is also within 10 minutes walking from the apartments. Consequently it is reachable any point in the city quickly and easily by the subway from the Central Subway Station Karlsplatz. The station with the subway lines U1, U2, U4 is just 20 minutes walking from the apartments location.

Beside a big supermarket, being located directly in the same house block with the apartments, other shopping possibilities for all kinds of goods for daily need as well as a few banks, a post office, a pharmacy, further supermarkets, a tobacconists and 2 underground car parks are within 10-13 minutes walking from the apartments location. Moreover Europes largest open market - the world famous multi-cultural Viennese Naschmarkt - is just around the corner. On one end of the Naschmarkt there is the famous Viennes flee market (opened only Saturdays). The Kaerntnerstrasse and Graben(both pedestrian precincts) as well as the Mariahilferstrasse - the most famous Viennese shopping streets - are very close to the apartment (10 minutes walking distance).

The two main buildings of the University of Technology and their library are directly around the corner. The University of Vienna is also within walking distance.

The most famous objects of interest of the city like the Imperial Palace (Hofburg), Spanish Riding School, St. Stephans Cathedral, the State Opera House, the National Theatre, Theatre an der Wien as well as the Concert Hall and Musikverein and Museum of Fine Arts, Museum of Natural History and Leopold Museums (within Museums Quarter) are also in few minutes walking distance.

Many further landmarks of the city like the Danube Island, Prater and the Palace of Schoenbrunn and Palace of Belveder also the UN-Town with Austria Convention Centre are directly attainable in few minute ride (10-15) by the subway.

Reservations may be cancelled until 21 nights before arrival free of charge. Afterwards the following rules apply: Less than 21 nights before arrival a cancellation fee of 250 Euro will be charged. Cancellations less than 14 nights before arrival 100% of the booking amount are billed.

Arriving from the West Motorway (A 1)
At the end of the motorway (A1) keep on driving straightly until you pass Castle of Schoenbrunn; keep on driving straight until Schoennbrunnerstrasse remain on this street and follow the traffic sign Zentrum = center. Approximately at the number 56 on Schoenbrunnerstrasse bend to the left direction city centre into Rechte Wienzeile. Drive straighton. First you come on the Hamburgerstrasse and then on Rechte Wienzeile. Remain on this street. Almost at the end of this road turn right into the Faulmangasse. The first small road on the right is the Muehlgasse. The first house ist No. 6, which is your final destination.

Arriving from the Southern Motorway (A2)
You will enter Triesterstrasse. Keep driving straighton on Triester Strasse. You will reach Guertel. Drive under a railway viaduct, keep straight on and hold the left trace and drive straightforward on the Reinprechtsdorferstrasse. You will enter Schoennbrunnerstrasse. Turn here on the right. Follow after 200 meters the traffic sign Zentrum = center and bend to the left direction of Rechte Wienzeile. Drive straighton. First you come on the Hamburgerstrasse and then on Rechte Wienzeile. Remain on this street. Almost at the end of this road turn right into the Faulmangasse. The first small road on the right is the Muehlgasse. The first house ist No. 6, which is your final destination.

Arriving from the Motorway North (A22) from Prague
Keep driving direction Zentrum= center until you reach the Urania building on you left side. Here you bend right on the very famous Ringstrasse. Hold the left trace. At the Vienna State Opera House you bend to the left into the Operngasse. Keep on the middle track. Bend after the 3rd Traffic light on the right into the Faulmangasse. The 1st small road on the right is the Muehlgasse. The first house is No. 6 is your final destination.

From Vienna Airport Schwechat on motorway A4
(from Budapest or Slovakia)
Keep on driving on A4 direction to Vienna (about 12 km). Pursue the trafic sign Zentrum = center. Bend with Urania to the left. Turn left over a bridge into the famous Ringstrasse, hold the left trace. At the Vienna State Opera House you bend to the left into the Operngasse. Keep on the middle track. Bend after the 3rd Traffic light on the right into the Faulmangasse. The 1st small road on the right is the Muehlgasse. The first house is No. 6 is your final destination.

From Vienna International Airport Schwechat:
A taxi ride to Central Apartment Vienna costs about 40 EURO.
Express bus to the center Wien Mitte go every 20 minutes: approx. 8 EURO
Railway to the center Wien Mitte go every 30 minutes: approx. 5 EURO

From Wien Mitte
take the subway line U4 direktion Huetteldorf and get off at 2nd stop Karlsplatz. Take the exit Wiednerhauptstrasse. Go about 30 meters straighton, then turn to the right and go about 50 meters along the green buildings of the Technical University, until you arrive on the Operngasse. Here turn left and keep straighton until the 1st Traffic light. Turn right into the Faulmanngasse. The 1st small road on the right is the Muehlgasse. From the West Station (Westbahnhof)
Take the underground line U6, direction Alterlaa or Siebenhirten. Get out at the 2nd stop Laengenfeldgasse. Change here to subway line U4 and get off at the 4th station Karlsplatz. Go about 30 meters straighton, then turn to the right and go about 50 meters along the green buildings of the Technical University, until you arrive on the Operngasse.
